Generally, I absolutely hate mac and the products they push out (especially their marketing ads), but I am considering buying a new phone and I want to see if anyone can lay down the bottom line of an Iphone 3g for me. The competition against the Iphone for my well earned money is the Samsung Omnia under Verizon.
I have read reviews in depth for both phones and cannot I find too many hair splitting pros and cons between the phones (eg: Omnia is a bit sluggish, Iphone dosent support MMS). Somethings I like about both phones are the Iphones apps and aparant simplicity to use, Yet the omnia has a raido, supports divx videos, and has some nice windows features. Im also curious if I can set up my own ringtones on either of the phone from an MP3 file.
So I need a basic bottom line on both phones and which would do best.
