iphone rebate8 If I decided to take advantage of Apples $100 rebate even though I never bought an iPhone?
Bad Santa asked:

Could I be charged with federal Mail Fraud and/or Wire Fraud?

If Apple sends the rebate by mail, could I be charged with mail fraud?

If Apple sends the rebate by internet (direct deposit into store credit) could they tack on wire fraud?
Fraud is a general term. Each case can warrant different charges in state/federal court.

I know it is store credit, but it doesn’t make a difference whether its credit or its cash.
